A Class of Ratio-Cum-Ratio-Type Exponential Estimators for Population Mean with Sub Sampling the Non-Respondents

This paper addresses the problem of estimating population mean using auxiliary information in presence of non-response in sample surveys. We have suggested a class of ratio-cum-ratio-type exponential estimators for population mean along with its properties. Range of the scalar involved in the proposed class of estimators is found in which the suggested class of estimators is more efficient than usual unbiased estimator, ratio estimator and ratio-type exponential estimator. Double sampling version of the suggested class of estimators is also given along with its properties. Numerical illustrations are given in support of present study.
